Girls’ trip to PVR unexpectedly altered our brai Girls’ trip to PVR unexpectedly altered our brain chemistries. So much happened over 6 days. I was looking through videos and completely forgot about the first very memorable airport security incident. 😆

Here’s to endings and new beginnings for us all!

Some favorite moments from Bucerías, Sayulita, and Puerto Vallarta:
- Getting inspo from the nicest home swap
- Raising each other up over drinks in Sayulita (that flooded day was a novel in itself - in prior post)
- Faced my fear of being underwater! Went scuba diving for my first time and saw an octopus, turtle, and many nudibranchs. Even more impactful because I originally wasn’t doing it for myself.
- Vibing to the incredible singers at random bars and restaurants
- Being heard and supported by such strong women 🤍
8 packed hours in Sayulita. Wow do we have stories 8 packed hours in Sayulita. Wow do we have stories.
- Daytrip from Bucerías (35 min drive)
- So many cute stores for shopping
- Good cocktails, service, and vibes at Xochi 🍹
- Great margaritas, aguachile, and pulpo at Margarita’s House
- Fish tacos at Tacos Gaby (fine, but wouldn’t revisit) 🌮
- Then the heavens opened up, the town lost power, so much thunder/lightening/flooding ☔️
- Took us two hours to find a ride back, thank you so much to the staff at Margarita’s House for going out of their way to help
- After the drive back in the storm, we arrived to see the entire road/parking lot outside Mega and La Comer flooded to knee height (two huge grocery store chains here and where we needed to turn into to get our home’s residential gate)
- Eventually after circling for a while, finding no other road through, and seeing a stalled car in the flood, the driver said f*ck it and drove through the water, and it worked 😬. We reached home safely.
- Then my anxiety/sixth sense kicked in, and my personal life got suddenly flooded
- Thank goodness for my girlfriends and Chat 🤍
- And now seeing the news in Texas right after this. My heart breaks for the victims of that flood, and I’m feeling extra grateful we got home. Though parts of me are deeply, unexpectedly hurt again, I have my actual life, my community, and comfort/stability in myself. 🙏🏼
Single-origin s’mores kit @dandelionchocolate Single-origin s’mores kit @dandelionchocolate

No campfire needed! 🔥 The single-origin chocolates were super distinct in taste. I especially liked the raisin notes in the Ransiki, Indonesia chocolate (even though I’m meh about raisins 😮). Loved the extra buttery graham crackers too. Marshmallows were super soft, though a bit sweet for my preference. Overall enjoyed how luxurious, yet easy these were to enjoy at home. [gifted]
