Today on, is it sausage or is it banana? Actually Today on, is it sausage or is it banana? Actually this is my March recap, and I wanted a photo of myself that I hadn’t posted yet, but didn’t take very many. So here’s a blurry screenshot of a video clip that I thought was moderately flattering. 👍🏼

Cheers to a happy, packed, yet lowkey March ☺️
🇹🇼 🇰🇷 🇺🇸

- Fav day was a marathon in Taipei: 4 bakeries -> first teppanyaki -> 5 bars -> dancing my butt off at an edm club 🇹🇼 ty SF Taiwan friends 🙏🏼
- Visiting Grandma and her cooking. No notes.
- Possibly cursed my love life at the love god temple in Taipei 😅
- New country unlocked 🇰🇷
- Spontaneously got my face zapped by lasers in Seoul. Pimple patch on and all.
- Spontaneously got bangs. That already disappeared.
- Got my color analysis! (summer cool deep/light. Apparently gold jewelry is not flattering for me, and thats all I wear. 😭)
- Ended my “got the flu after international travel” streak ✅
- Ate at some fire new SF restaurants 🇫🇷🇲🇽
- Had espresso + coffee drink so good it made me question every coffee I’ve had before
A world coffee championship routine, in San Franci A world coffee championship routine, in San Francisco 👀

Denmark Barista Champion @christopher_hoff_ presented his 2025 World Coffee Championship routine @thewildfoxsf in FiDi.

Three drinks were served.
The espresso? I didn’t know what I had been drinking before.
The milk beverage? Sweet and balanced.
And the signature beverage with coconut water and sea buckthorn was pure tiki perfection. 🌴☕️

These routines are rarely available to the public. But he is performing his routine next weekend April 4th and 5th as well.

Contemporary Mexican spot by the Dalida team. Name Contemporary Mexican spot by the Dalida team. Named after Chef Laura’s mother and sister, and featuring beloved childhood dishes.

And let me tell you, it was all hits.

We started with a caviar guacamole buñuelo. Wow, early contender for favorite bite this year.

I loved the shrimp and raw scallop ceviche, with crispy fried shrimp head.

And that mole on the duck carnitas enmoladas? Made me a convert.

Next came lamb ribs barbacoa build-your-own tacos.

Chochoyote dumplings had huitlacoche, mushrooms, and a side of bone marrow.

We were stuffed but couldn’t resist the corn ice cream choco ta-corn. And pineapple flan.

Plus the cocktails are wildly innovative, and the wine program highlights women winemakers.

Reservations are tough right now, but they do take some walk-ins.
