Banana Cake with Salted Caramel Cream Cheese Frosting
I was brainstorming cake ideas for an event and realized I've never had a banana cake! The idea of a lighter banana bread covered with fluffy, decadent buttercream frosting was an instant winner. I knew I hadContinue reading

Probably in a toxic relationship with London, but Probably in a toxic relationship with London, but no regrets. Just unintentionally collecting stories for my future tell-all that friends are encouraging me to write 😬🫠

Trip two took the same pattern and escalated it:
- more fun and dancing to throwbacks
- more chaos invading my peace
- more sick afterward

When is trip three? Because I still haven’t had London Indian food 😅
This was either going to be wholesome or a crime s This was either going to be wholesome or a crime scene. When you’re done with dating apps but still want to meet actual humans, this was like adult summer camp, minus the summer part.

They match total strangers using a very detailed survey and drop you in group events. I picked a potluck and brought the most polarizing dish… green fluff salad. Perfect way to find out who’s adventurous and who’s judging me silently. I did bring pineapple buns as backup.

We did improv games while pretending we had circulation. Then we inhaled food, trauma-bonded over the cold, and liked each other enough to go to a bar after. All that socializing made us hungry for a second lunch, so my new friends and I ended the day with pho.

Honestly, this was way more fun than I expected. And I didn’t have to deal with endless swiping or creepy advances. A holiday miracle. Thanks to 222. [ad]

November dump! Somehow found time to socialize mor November dump! Somehow found time to socialize more, eat more, and chill more while I worked even more?

Some fun firsts
- Friendsgiving with strangers
- First labubu (support my friend! @labubu.closetshop 🫶🏼)
- First concert where I was the majority 👀 (Asians at Knock2)
- First UFO (but what actually is that lol - slide 3)
- First Sunday roast in SF
- First SF after hours club (how is this legal)
- First strip club (no drinks nor performances were served unfortunately after 2 am)
- First time winning best flip cup time (4 flips in 12.59s) 😆
This is the first real Sunday roast I’ve seen in S This is the first real Sunday roast I’ve seen in San Francisco.

Dingles is brand new and serving a full traditional spread on Sundays. You choose roast beef with red wine gravy or crispy pork belly with mustard gravy.

Both options come with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots, and cauliflower cheese. And doesn’t matter if you’re full, don’t miss the sticky toffee pudding with brown butter ice cream.

I just waited two and a half hours for London’s most famous roast. And Dingles Public House is way better. Word’s already out, so book those reservations asap.
