This is the first real Sunday roast I’ve seen in S This is the first real Sunday roast I’ve seen in San Francisco.

Dingles is brand new and serving a full traditional spread on Sundays. You choose roast beef with red wine gravy or crispy pork belly with mustard gravy.

Both options come with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots, and cauliflower cheese. And doesn’t matter if you’re full, don’t miss the sticky toffee pudding with brown butter ice cream.

I just waited two and a half hours for London’s most famous roast. And Dingles Public House is way better. Word’s already out, so book those reservations asap.

I took my friend to her first omakase, and she was I took my friend to her first omakase, and she was getting the classic experience… at least at first. We ate some special balls, sea urchin, plenty of nigiri, fancy, but pretty standard.

Then out of nowhere, diners next to me started torching their own sushi. So obviously we needed to try. Suddenly we’re getting a knife lesson after dessert. Chef Jackson was a pro. Meanwhile I made smashed cucumbers.

We had the best time though. And now my friend thinks all omakase experiences come with a side of culinary school

If you want modern Italian with fresh pasta and wo If you want modern Italian with fresh pasta and wood-fired entrees, Bosco just opened in the former Bellota space, and it works for everything from big groups to date nights.

I was last here years ago with my most avoidant ex. So I when I heard a new concept moved in, I embraced the opportunity to make new memories. Team personal growth over avoidance any day.

Bosco is the latest from The Absinthe Group. I enjoyed the octopus carpaccio, a cheesy cappellacci with caramelized onion and sweet potato, and a 32 ounce bone in ribeye.

We wrapped with a chocolate tiramisu and two strong espresso cocktails. I was wired til 3am… worth every heartbeat.

If you’re craving British comfort food without boo If you’re craving British comfort food without booking a flight, you’re in luck.

San Francisco finally has a proper British pub. Tucked inside the Inn at the Opera in Hayes Valley is Dingles Public House.

Chef George, who’s worked at two Michelin-starred restaurants in the UK, teamed up with his partner Anissa to bring classic British pub food, done exceptionally well.

Think fish & chips, Scotch egg, cheesy Welsh rarebit, flaky beef & Guinness meat pies with bone marrow, and of course sticky toffee pudding with brown butter ice cream. And honestly it was all better than what I recently had in London.

They’ve also got a full Sunday roast in the works, with roast beef, pork belly, the whole deal. I’ll be back to report on that.

Dingles opens the day after Thanksgiving.
